TFW your water bill is $300 more than usual and you think you have a water leak somewhere but you don’t see anything obvious so you call your plumber because you think that maybe the leak is at your meter but he says there isn’t one and there’s barely any water usage showing at the meter so there isn’t a leak in the house either so then you compare your bills and realize that someone read the meter wrong 2 months ago and said that you had negative water usage of 200 units of water but you didn’t notice because they charge you a minimum fee regardless of usage and the bill was only $7 lower than usual but this month they read it correctly and incorrectly billed you for the 200 unit difference
